The Day School is a ministry of First Presbyterian Church. Our goal is to provide a Christian atmosphere in which each child will grow spiritually, physically, socially, emotionally, and intellectually.
First Presbyterian Church Day School offers traditional education programs for children 8 weeks through 4 years, and Montessori programs for children ages 3 through 3rd grade.
These programs are designed to give each child the age-appropriate experience he or she needs in a Christian environment surrounded with love, to develop satisfying relationships, increase awareness and knowledge about the world, to grow in self-understanding, and to use his or her developing powers to communicate and think.
Students from both the traditional and Montessori classes attend music class, chapel, Spanish and library each week. Three year olds and older also attend Spanish class weekly. We have special activity days each year for field trips, family activities, and group celebrations.
